Quarter-1: April 17, 2021 - Online Distraction and Loss of Learning & Knowledge Transfer

Quarter-1:Testimonials

PMI Lakeshore’s First Quarterly Education Knowledge Sharing Event, "Online Distraction and Loss of Learning & Knowledge Transfer" was quite informative. As a post-secondary educator, I found the presentation made by Wayne Ferrell truly relevant as we try to figure out how to keep students (and by extension our fellow colleagues) engaged and coping in the “new normal” online environment. In his talk, Wayne debunked the myth of “multitasking” and moderated an interactive discussion on how to keep students/the project team and its members engaged. I took a lot away from this session and I sincerely look forward to the next offering of the Knowledge Sharing Branch.

"I was elated to attend the PMILOC Education Knowledge Sharing Event because Walter Ginevri, a recipient of the PMI fellow award, was to speak in this event. I found this event to be insightful and as a student I realized the importance of Projects in education. It provided me with a new outlook for educating myself in the art of learning, unlearning and relearning. I am grateful to PMILOC and Sonia Anjum for Hosting this event".
