How to Join PMILOC
To join PMILOC, you must be a member of the Project Management Institute (PMI). Join PMILOC when you first join PMI or add the chapter to your membership at any time. Here are the instructions:
Join the Project Management Institute and the PMILOC Chapter
- Go to the PMI Become a Member page.
- Click Join PMI or Renew Today
- Click Join or Renew Now and enter the requested info.
- When you get to the “PMI Local Chapter” page, enter Lakeshore in the “Chapters Located Near You” field.
- Select the PMI Lakeshore Ontario Chapter checkbox.
- Click Continue.
- Enter your billing and payment information and complete your purchase.
Add the PMILOC Chapter to your PMI Membership
If you’re already a PMI member, you can add a PMILOC membership:
- Log in to PMI.
- Select Membership > Local Chapters.
- Scroll to the “Join a PMI Chapter” section.
- You should see “PMI Lakeshore Ontario Chapter.” Click Join Chapter.
- Click Add to Cart and then Checkout.
Are you a student or retiree? If so, then you might also qualify for Student or Retiree membership rates. Please visit the PMI website to learn more about eligibility and cost.
Membership Renewal
Your chapter member is synchronized by PMI so that, regardless of when you joined the chapter, both your Chapter and PMI memberships end on the same date. When you renew, you can renew your PMI and Chapter memberships for a full year.
Just sign in to the PMI website, navigate to your account information, and follow the prompts to renew!
Note that your membership status is managed by PMI - the information is typically transmitted to our chapter in 3 - 4 business days.
