Why this course is important?

Course Description - Click here for more details & Brochure.

The 2-day Disciplined Agile Lean Scrum Master (DALSM) workshop is for those who already have had prior training in both the fundamentals of Agile Project Management and Lean (the 3-day DALSM course is for those without prior training in Lean as applied in both physical and knowledge-work contexts).

The Disciplined Agile (DA) toolkit builds on proven practices from multiple agile methods such as Scrum, Lean and Kanban to provide teams with a pragmatic approach to scaling agile. Unlike other scaling frameworks which take a prescriptive approach, Disciplined Agile provides teams with options to be agile within organizational standards and project constraints.

The Disciplined Agile Lean Scrum Master (DALSM) workshop provides tools and strategies to help you lead an agile team, influence people, and remove impediments. Using real-world agile strategies, you will learn how to tailor your team’s Way of Working (WoW) to optimize productivity and continuously improve.

Upon completion of this two-day workshop, if you would also like to earn a PMI DA certification, you may take the PMI DALSM 1 exam within 30-days of completing the course at no charge. After 30 days, if you choose to write the DALSM exam, the cost (paid to PMI) is $150 USD.

Who will benefit from the course?

This workshop is for practitioners who already understand the fundamentals of agile and lean, and better yet, have gained experience applying them in practice.

Who is providing this Training?

PMI Lakeshore Ontario Chapter (PMILOC) has partnered with World Class Productivity (WCP) and Canadian Management Centre (CMC) to make this training available to PMILOC members at a discounted rate.

WCP is a PMI Certified Disciplined Agile Partner with twenty-five years’ of experience providing Canada’s leading organizations fundamental to advanced level project management training — and we were one of the first PMI Registered Education Providers to offer Disciplined Agile (DA) training in Canada.

How much will it cost?

The standard fee for the 2-day Disciplined Agile Lean Scrum Masters (DALSM) course is $1195 + HST. Through our partnership agreement with WCP and CMC, PMILOC chapter members who register with the discount code PMILOC will receive a $150 discount off the standard rate for this course.

Are there any prerequisites for taking this course?

Prior to taking this course, participants should have already received formal training in agile and lean fundamentals, and ideally have hands on experience with both. Those without prior agile training should first take our 3-day Agile Project Management Hands On. Those without prior lean training should take the 3-day DALSM workshop which includes the Foundations of Lean module.
