Why this course is important?

The Disciplined Agile (DA) toolkit builds on proven practices from multiple agile methods such as Scrum, Lean and Kanban to provide teams with a pragmatic approach to scaling agile. Unlike other scaling methods and frameworks which take a prescriptive approach, Disciplined Agile Delivery (DAD) provides teams with options to be agile within organizational standards and project constraints and provides them support for Guided Continuous Improvement.

On August 9 2019, the Project Management Institute (PMI) announced the acquisition of Disciplined Agile (DA) and shortly after, developed the 3-day Disciplined Agile Leant Scrum Masters (DALSM) course.

The three day Disciplined Agile Lean Scrum Master (DALSM) workshop provides tools and strategies to help you lead an agile team, influence people, and remove impediments. Using real-world agile strategies, you will learn how to tailor your team’s Way of Working (WoW) to optimize productivity and continuously improve.

Upon completion of this three-day workshop, if you would also like to earn a Disciplined Agile certification, you may take the PMI DALSM 1 exam within thirty days of completing the course at no charge. After thirty days, if you choose to write the PMI DALSM 1 exam, the cost (paid to PMI) is $200 USD.
