Who’s doing what? There’s an app for that!

Excerpt A roadmap for selecting and implementing collaborative project tracking tools.

Online Delivery - Detailed will be announced soon.

There’s a plethora of apps dedicated to managing projects, workflows, collaboration, reporting, and other aspects related to project management. Those are part of the ecosystem in which we work every day. As someone who manages projects, it is important to be aware of the different options and capabilities of those applications in order to empower to be as effective as they can be while collaborating on a project. This presentation will cover the different stages of adopting tools from initial needs evaluation to implementation as well as outline the various considerations that should be applied at every step.

In addition, it will provide the audience with an overview of several popular tools on the market focusing on agile practices, the ability to customize the product for the workflows and information requirements in your organization, and highlighting unique features for each app through comparison with popular tools (e.g., Microsoft Project and JIRA).

Throughout the presentation, online resources such as resources and templates will be provided to participants to use, adapt and expand as needed in their projects.

What’s in it for you?

• Build capacity to analyze, evaluate and integrate collaborative project tracking apps.

• Identify the relevant features you need for the type of projects you work on.

• Develop pilot/test-run plans for effective integration and onboarding people.

• Discuss the scalability and potential enhancements for select applications.
