Lean (Lego) White Belt Training for Project Management Professionals (Open to all Sectors)

No previous Lean training or experience is required. Trainer only wants you to bring 1 small size process from your existing or previous job. You are also welcome without a process as you will be able to learn from others processes through group exercises. You will be able to apply Lean principles, philosophies, methodologies and tools in your own settings.

Who - Trainees from every sector are welcome, no previous experience with Lean required (open to all).

Introduction to Lean (1 Hour)

  • History of Lean
  • Share QCDMS Consultant’s Embedding Lean model (Culture, Purpose, Voice of the Customer, Performance Measures, People & Process Improvements)
  • Process Improvement- Lean 8 Waste, Value Added and Non Value Added Work

4 layers of experiential learning (2.5 Hours)

  • Learning Layer 1 - 4 videos to find Lean 8 Waste

4 x 5 minutes videos will be provided in a memory stick, ahead of the training and trainees will watch, process map, classify each step into Value added or Non value added and further classify them into 8 waste

  • Learning Layer 2 - 4 LEGO model exercises

    • Manufacturing- Improve Assembly process,
    • Healthcare sector- Improve flow through a Cardio clinic,
    • Public sector- Increase yield of resources so they can serve more Customers with the same resources and
    • Service sector- Improve the flow of through a collision centre

Every group will do a report out at the centre on a single sheet, all 4 Case Studies.

  • Learning Layer 3 - Actual process improvements with benefits

All the case studies shared above are real case studies and trainer will share actual improvements that staff made with benefits or outcomes.

  • Learning Layer 4 - Commitment and apply back

Trainees will think about 3 things that they can go back and improve in their jobs the next day and start making small process improvements

If you cancel your registration after the deadline you will not receive any refund of the registration fees. It is also not possible to transfer your registration to another event if you are unable to attend the event you have registered for.
