The Nuclear industry is not like any conventional industry. In addition to the stringent safety requirements, the cost of nuclear engineering projects in comparison to a conventional project is astronomical. Managing engineering projects in this industry requires some level of ingenuity and special attention to details. The Term “Attention to Details” more aptly applies to Engineering Projects in Nuclear-related Industries.

A Technical Scope of Work (TSW) takes on a new meaning. It becomes the “Handbook” of the project. The degree to which it is understood could be the difference between successful project execution and a failed project.

Learning Outcomes:

-          Why attention to details

-          What makes engineering projects in the nuclear industry different
