Elizabeth Hartyoon, PMP

Elizabeth holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics and a PMP designation. Been member of PMI for 7 years, Lakeshore Chapter for 3 years and started volunteering as Volunteer Portfolio Manager, Mentor, and Chair of Volunteers Rewards and Recognition Evaluation Committee in 2020. She also volunteers as a Mentor for “North York Community House” and “Wedu Global” organizations. 
 
In her role as Volunteer Portfolio Manager, Elizabeth contributes by:

* Improving, standardizing, and automating volunteer-related processes for effective management of the portfolio.
* Increasing volunteer engagement by developing and hosting professional development sessions.
* Meeting virtually with 30% of active volunteers through virtual chat initiative. The aim of the virtual chat is to get to know our volunteers, capture their volunteering experience, and solicit ideas for
   improvement.

* Working closely with other portfolio managers to ensure volunteers are getting recognized for their contributions, thru Awards, and capturing their volunteering hours.

As a Manager of PMO, Elizabeth believes in coaching, mentoring and motivating Project & Program Managers by creating a work environment that builds high performing teams required to deliver value-added, innovative IT projects in North America today and has done so in the Middle East, and Africa in her previous roles.

She looks for continuous improvement opportunities, most recently improving, implementing, and centralizing resource and capacity planning​. ​This was achieved by delivering the training curriculum, developing monitoring dashboards, and ensuring resources are requested and allocated on time.
 
Elizabeth continues to improve her tennis skills while dreaming of becoming a recreational pilot.

Luciano Pelosi, P.Eng., PMP®, SMCTM

Luciano Pelosi, P.Eng., PMP®, SMCTM is a professional engineer who has worked in the manufacturing industry for twenty-two years.  He is also a Project Management Professional and Scrum Master Certified. His areas of specialty include implementing Project Management software and training. Luciano has been a member of PMI Lakeshore Ontario Chapter since 2011. He currently holds the position as Project Manager/Technical Product Specialist for a large dock leveler manufacturer. Previous positions include Head of Engineering for a suspended access systems firm, project manager for a manufacturer of catalytic emission control products.

Luciano has also worked in the research and development department of a large injection molding company, where he focused on cost reduction. He has proven leadership, influential and facilitation skills accompanied by strong business acumen.  Luciano has a demonstrated ability to function successfully in a fast paced, changing work environment.  His volunteer experience with PMILOC includes Portfolio Manager for Events, and Speaker Manager for both Events and Professional Development team. He is a dynamic, motivated individual that converts his passion for project management into innovation.

Harinder is an accomplished senior Program/Project Manager providing Business/IT Transformation Projects delivery, IT Consulting services, Pre-sales, Business outcomes and RFP/Bid proposal for Tier 1 leading Telco, Banking and Enterprise multinational organizations during the last 20+ years. Harinder has managed large and complex projects for several prestigious clients in Canada, Australia and internationally. Harinder is a PMP Certified, Scrum Master Certified and Lean Six Sigma & Yellow belt trained. Harinder possesses a 4 years engineering degree in Computer Science and postgraduate 1 year Executive certificate in Management Program (eMcIntire), University of Virginia.

Harinder has been a member of PMI for 10+ years and of PMI Lakeshore Chapter for close to 5 years. Harinder has been a mentor with PMILOC during the last couple of years and held an executive position (VP-Membership) with Toastmasters International. He is currently holding the position of Area Director of Division F, District 86, and Toastmasters International and is responsible for the growth and coaching to the Club Presidents in his area to help achieve the defined goals for their respective Clubs and the District 86. Dev Ramcharan, PMP

I have been a PMI member for 15 years (PMP since 2005), and a member of PMI LOC for 5 years, and have been a Volunteer speaker at events and Saturday training days since 2015. As a PMILOC volunteer I have provided training pro bono on Emotional Intelligence, Empathy and Conflict Management, among other subjects. 

As a volunteer outside of PMI, I led the Family Association for Mental Health Everywhere (a not-for-profit healthcare agency) as a Board Chair and chair of the Governance Committee, and navigated the organization through a time of traumatic change. I have worked in, built and managed Project Management Offices for over 20 years, working in Banking, Telecommunications and in Health Care. In my private consulting practice, I have focused on individual and organizational change. My services include coaching in Career Transition and Optimization, and assessment ,training and coaching in Emotional Intelligence and Culture Change. I am a Certified Project Management Professional, an OCAI Organizational Culture Change Management expert, a Prosci Certified Change Management Practitioner, a Certified Career Transition Coach, a Minds at Work Process Facilitator, an EQi 2.0 Emotional Intelligence Assessor, Trainer and Coach. I currently work for Auvenir, a software development company, as a Project Management Lead.

Apoorv Gupta, CAPM, CSM, MM

I am a Master of Management graduate from UBC Sauder School of Business with designations such as CAPM and CSM. I have been a member at PMI for 3 years and a member of the PMILOC for about 1 year. I have held Portfolio Manager position since January 2020 and was a Project Analyst between November 2019 and January 2020.

I have been involved with the Member Care team and helped build monthly projects such as New Member Orientation and have helped build Knowledge Sharing Meeting project - helping membership identify themselves with a micro community in industries such as Finance, Construction, Healthcare, IT etc. I have volunteered with a not-for-profit organization in India for 3 years.

I foresee the Member care team building on projects such as the Knowledge Sharing to keep engaging our members at the PMI LOC. I want to keep building cross functionality with different portfolios within the chapter to deliver more engaging and valuable events for the members in the time to come and keep engaging our volunteers by giving them platform to prove their leadership skills.

My background is Finance and Economics and I have been working in the financial services industry in Canada. I have worked as a Credit & Project coordinator, testing an enterprise software rollout and I am currently working as a Senior Investment Accountant at CIBC Mellon. I am also pursuing my passion and working as a Part-time Professor at Sheridan College teaching Micro Economics.
