REGISTRATION INFORMATION

The PMI Lakeshore Chapter will be holding an Agile Certification Practitioner (ACP) Training over three days, November 22nd, 23rd and 24th, 2017. This course is being offered to our members by Kevin Aguanno, PMP,, Cert.APM, Agile Consultant with Procept Associates Ltd. which is a premier provider of professional agile training programs.  The Agile course offers the Certified Agile Project Manager exam (PMAC) on DAY 3 of the course.

COURSE DESCRIPTION

Whether in government or private industry, project managers face a huge challenge when confronted with continually changing requirements. How can you plan when the things keep changing? Traditional project management approaches suggest that we take a snapshot of the requirements as a baseline, and then use change control in an attempt to minimize the impact of any shifting requirements. Sometimes, however, these changes are a reality that the project sponsor has to accommodate. Agile Project Management methods help deal with these situations.

Participants in this 3-day session will learn the techniques of Agile Project Management through simulations and examples from real-world projects that used these methods to control changing requirements.

This course is a great stepping stone for someone who works or is looking to work in an Agile environment and is designed to meet the educational requirements for both the Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) and the Certified Agile Project Manager (Cert.APM) exams and, furthermore,  prepares participants for the Scrum Master Exam.
