Join us to find out how 8.5M Project Managers use LinkedIn and other social media channels to be more productive.  During the presentation, you will learn social media best practices which are used by Project Managers on LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Google and other available tools.

It is assumed that everyone at the event has a LinkedIn or Facebook profile and have some knowledge of how to use social media. 

Please come ready to ask questions so that Christine can help you take your knowledge to the next level.  Some key take away learnings are:

-  how to keep your LinkedIn profile up to date

-  how to network effectively on social media and in Groups

-  understanding which channels will work best, and

SPEAKER - Christine Gnass

Christine is at her best when she gets the opportunity to help someone or a business grow. She enjoys connecting with new people and develop relationships to be mutually beneficial. 

After spending 20+ years managing a sales team for a large telecommunications provider, she understands the challenges of growing a business, managing clients and people.

Leveraging her experience with small and large companies in various industries; Christine is now applying her social media management skills to help her clients and train individuals to be effective social media users. 

Christine is a certified Digital Marketing Consultant and a certified Social Media Practioner. Customers and colleagues have described Christine as tenacious, trustworthy and customer focused. 


As a social media workshop mediator, Christine has the ability to simplify the ever changing world of social media for everyone, regardless of knowledge level. You will leave her workshops intrigue with what social media can do for your business and the tools you need to make it happen.

Continuing the registration process constitutes acceptance of the Cancellation Policy:

PMI Lakeshore's Cancellation Policy


PMI Lakeshore reserves the right to cancel an event due to low enrolment or other circumstances which would make the event non-viable. If PMI Lakeshore cancels an event, registrants will be provided a full refund.

If a registrant has to cancel their event registration:

1. All registered attendees are required to notify the PMI Lakeshore Chapter of any cancellations by sending an e-mail message to cancel@pmiloc.org with your cancellation request. To expedite your cancellation, please include the transaction ID number from your receipt or the event code/program number that starts with "C193" in your request.

2. Unless specifically stated on event materials, the cancellation deadline is as follows:

• Dinner Meeting - by 5:00 P.M. five (5) business days prior to the event.
• Professional Development Event – by 5:00 P.M. three (3) business days prior to the event.

3. Cancellations received prior to the cancellation deadline will be eligible to receive a full refund, less an administration fee determined by the board for that event type.
4. Refund of a registration paid by a personal or corporate credit card will be handled as follows:
• If the registration has not been processed, the registration request will be cancelled.
• If the registration has been processed, the credit card account used for the original registration will be credited for the registration amount, less the administration fee equal to 6% of the amount billed rounded off to the nearest dollar, within 30 days of the event. 
5. Refund of a registration paid by personal or corporate cheque will be handled as follows:
• If the cheque has not been processed, the cheque will be voided and returned to sender. 
• If the cheque has been processed, a refund cheque will be mailed, less the administration fee of equal to 6% of the amount billed rounded off to the nearest dollar, within 30 days of the event. Cancellations received after the stated cancellation deadline will not be eligible for a refund. After the deadline, the chapter has purchased a non-refundable meal and/or printed materials on your behalf.

Event Photograph Policy

The C193 Chapter of the Project Management Institute (“PMIC193”) reserves the right to use any photograph/video taken at any event sponsored by PMIC193, without the expressed written permission of those included within the photograph/video. PMIC193 may use the photograph/video in publications or other media material produced, used or contracted by PMIC193 including but not limited to: brochures, invitations, books, newspapers, magazines, television, websites, etc.

By participating in or attending a PMI event or by failing to notify PMI, by answering the registration questions, your desire to not have your photograph used by PMI, you are agreeing to release, defend, hold harmless and indemnify PMI from any and all claims involving the use of your picture or likeness.
