Teaming Up for SUCCESS – Professionals Communicating with POWER

SATURDAY MEETING AGENDA

The power to influence and lead others goes a long way in making successful careers.

True success happens when we are confident, poised and professional in our leadership, and create harmony in our team. Experts have discovered that communication plays an important role in that success.

In this interactive and entertaining presentation, Judy will share techniques to help you get control, keep control, and gain cooperation in a positive and gentle way.

You will hear about the five common human factors which affect the way people act, react, and make decisions.  You will also get valuable information for creating your message and taking action. This information can also be used to strengthen YOUR teams to be confident about your vision, cooperative, and enthusiastic; collaborating to bring the projects in on time and in budget.

The workshop will show you how to take your skills to the next level, by delivering your words in a powerful way.  Whether you are speaking one-on-one, to a small group, or to a large audience, you can speak with confidence.

Learning Objectives:

To provide a group of business professionals, including project managers, leaders, and consultants with easy proven techniques to enhance their ability to communicate effectively with their peers, project team members, organizational leaders and other business professionals.

Participants will:

  • Learn how to create powerful, cooperative, enthusiastic teams and business relationships.
  • Enhance their ability to create an atmosphere of harmony, get along with others and handle any situation.
  • Gain communication skills to enable displaying a confident, poised professional image.
  • Discuss how non-verbal communication can support or distort an intended message; misunderstood or inappropriate language to avoid; how to use tone, intonation and pace to effectively deliver a message.
  • Learn how to be an active listener.
