The Lakeshore Chapter (C193) of the Project Management Institute is a non-profit body of volunteers established in 1999 to promote the effective use of proven methodologies for structured project management in organizations in the Regions of Peel, Halton, Hamilton -Wentworth and Niagara.

The Chapter has over 2200+ members and over 68% of these members have achieved their Project Management Professional (PMP) certifications.

The Chapter provides its members with a number of networking and professional development opportunities each year, including dinner meetings, Saturday Workshops and Courses.

Since 2012 Abiola has been a dedicated and active volunteer with the Lakeshore Ontario Chapter and is a current board member. She is the Prime Director for the Events portfolio and serves in the capacity of Board Secretary as well. In 2012, Abiola was the Project Manager for the Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) project working with several post-secondary institutions across Ontario to facilitate a partnership to market, launch and implement the CAPM pilot. As a part of the Professional Development team, she also assisted in the management of the PMP course prep course and led the RFP/RFQ process for vendor selection/ Registered Education Provider (REP) of the course. Abiola was the Project Sponsor for Career Day 2016 and also served in the capacity of Senior Project Manager for this very successful event. Other volunteer roles include working with DECA U and collaborating with other teams on several initiatives including the City of Mississauga’s International Project Management Day event 2015.

 Fady Salib (BASc., PMP) is a passionate professional who strives daily for innovation. He currently works as an Applications Architect, designing and planning the deployment of self-driving vehicles. He started as a Manufacturing designer, then switched to product and machine design. These experiences enriched his knowledge of real-life production environments. He then moved into product/project management and began exploring the operations world. Understanding what it takes to operate an organization and overseeing product development projects completed the puzzle for him. He is leveraging his engineering and project management knowledge to plan large industrial facility improvements while assisting his organization to standardize processes and tools.

    Michael Ghobros is the Director of Professional Services at Hostopia. Mr. Ghobros is also the head of a Global Project Management Office (PMO) responsible for efficiently and effectively delivering successful projects. Mr. Ghobros served previously as the head of the Migration Division responsible for completing successful migrations of partners’ assets including web and email content to the company platform. He brings over 20 years of experience in Technology and Project Management. His background includes key roles with Nortel Networks, Softchoice and Brookfield Lepage Johnson Controls.

Roshini Ranjan in her day life works as Manager Business Programs, managing the Centre of Excellence for Contract Management and Supplier Relationship Management at the GTAA. In her boss’s words, she is a strategic thinker and very driven.

She has travelled and lived in more than 5 countries around the globe. These amazing places have exposed to various cultures, customs and people. This has also introduced in her global concepts big ideas that has helped shape the person she is today.

Roshini is a mother of a daughter in university. She spends her weekends hiking on the Bruce Trail with her husband. She is adventurous by nature and likes to try out such activities like zip lining, sky diving, parasailing and whitewater rafting.
